Contracts Manager - (Manchester) The successful applicant will be responsible for a newly won contract with a staff of two supervisors and 10 to 12 engineers, as well as two in house contracts for University of Central England and Yorkshire building society and the maintenance of the building services. The candidate needs to be electrically biased and have come from building services background. The candidate will be responsible for all health and safety issues as well as meeting with the client so needs to be client facing and will be responsible for all contractual obligations. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the building services of their client and for two in house project, for the university of Central England and Yorkshire Building Society. M&E - Electrically biased. Candidates should have been educated to a minimum C & G Ideally ONC * HNC standard. Technical expertise and qualifications in a Building Services engineering discipline would be an important pre-requisite of the role. Knowledge of key operational management disciplines, e.g. Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators, Planned Maintenance Systems. IT literacy (word processing, spreadsheets and CAFM tools). Familiarity with commercial and contractual issues. Specific industry experience at management level in the area of Building Services Maintenance. Previous substantial Supervisory*Management experience including at least one role with accountability for the management of a sizeable team of people. At least one substantial role successfully managing a medium sized operational activity with clear profit accountability.
